I’ve known Kurt since we were little kids - always full of wit and good humour.
A couple of my lasting memories of Kurt are:-
1976 - school trip to Tregoyd in Wales - 11 years old and first time away from home - I was homesick and Kurt, being Kurt, gave me his Arsenal scarf to sleep with to make me feel better! Gotta love him!
As an adult - the way he constantly ribbed me about “playing with flowers all day” because he knew, as a florist, it wound me up!
In recent years, the way he has been so supportive of me during my own illness even though he had his own stuff to deal with - his incredible generousity and his wonderful positive outlook on life.
The world was a better place for Kurt being in it and I am so grateful and priviledged to be able to call him my friend.
Rest in Peace mate
